Cold climate growers have relied on Reliance since the 60's! Reliance peaches are mild and sweet with a distinct peach flavor that melts in your mouth. Enjoy a bevy of pink blossoms every spring and a bushel of your own homegrown peaches each summer! Firm and freestone, ripe and ready for canning, baking and eating!

Noted for its extreme cold hardiness, Reliance has no problems growing in zone 4 conditions, reliably producing heavy crops of peaches year after year. Wants a hot summer to ripen fully. Requires 1000 chill hours to reliably blossom and set fruit.

  • Can i keep this tree down to an 7’ to 8’ foot tall tree by pruning? Is it decease resistant? Will it grow and produce well in south eastern Pa?

    You can if you're careful as peaches are tip bearing. It should grow fine in your area.

  • Pardon my ignorance but is this curl resistant?

    It is not. Reliance is bred for cold winters, dry spring times, and hot summers.

Let me tell YOU THIS! BRAVO!

I am not paid for this review. I bought the largest size peach tree and self fruiting cherry with this nursery...it was packed perfectly and both trees were hand pruned and in tip-top shape.

I have gardened for 40+ years and have planted many trees. This is by far my best experience! Do "not" hesitate to order with them. DF Pittsburgh, PA

Peach tree

I ordered my trees at the end of March. They did not arrive until approx 1 1/2 month later, near to the end of the desirable planting season. Even though the roots were dry when I took them out of the box, this peach tree is taking off. It's looking good so far!
